Camcorder
The camcorder arrived this morning and I have spent most of the day reading the instructions, charging the battery and playing around with it. We will have to go out more now so we can get some good footage!

The Cottage
This is my first scene done in Carrara 6. The interface is not as intuitive as Vue 6I and the scenery is not as impressive.
Growing to like Alice
I’ve been playing with the lights in Poser and am beginning to get much better results with Alice.
New Items
Bought Alice and Chocolate Hair. which I had been wanting for several weeks and finally purchased at 50% off. I love Chocolate Hair but I’m not too sure about Alice. Here is my very first render of her. I had a big problem with the lights and shadows.
I also got Sadie just before Christmas and the little elves. Sadie is so cute!
I also got Candy and the Little Witch. They are just so cute too!
Modeling
I bought Modo from Daz while it was on special offer. I’d really like to get to grips with modeling but so far it seems so difficult to get into.

I need more practice but this is a start.
I painted the bathroom walls yesterday in a soft peach colour. It looks all clean and sparkling but I need to get a new window blind as the old one needs replacing now. I hope to gloss paint the woodwork and the window frame this week too and then that room should be finished.

Yippeeeeeeee!!!! I was one of the winners of the Daz Treasure Hunt!!! 😯 I cannot believe that I was actually one of the first 25 people to send in my answers or that I could win after being stuck on one of the earlier questions for 2 days!!!! I’m so pleased they released the clues in groups. It gave me time to solve the answer to that very difficult clue!! It’s unbelievable!!! 😛 I’m not sure what I’m going to spend my prize on but I am going to have lots of fun thinking about it!! 😛
